IT'S A BLUES THING

Hop City Blues & Brews, the county's newest blues club, is showing its muscle this week with a powerful lineup that includes Syl Johnson tonight and Miss Lavelle White on Friday and Saturday. By the way, drop by early Friday and Saturday for happy hour and treat yourself to one of most entertaining duos you'll find in any club, at any hour. Known as the Delta Ramblers, T. Roy Matthews and Big Jim Caver play some of the hottest juke-joint blues I've ever heard in an Orange County club. I love these guys and wish I could see more of them.
